Denver, CO - Grant R Productions and HyperHead Records present SCI-FI UTERUS in Songs to Lynch: An Electro-Pop Performance inspired by the filmmaker at the BUG Theatre on March 24 at 8pm. Tickets are $5. The Bug Theatre is a 153-seat performance space in the Historical Highlands Art District of Northwest Denver. Built in 1911 as a silent movie house, the theatre was refurbished in 1994 and is now an ideal space to experience “the extravagant arbiters of technocentric music.”

Denver, CO - Sci-Fi Uterus to appear at Raw Material IV, a four day electronic music showcase produced by Ancient Desert Sounds and Recordings. An annual festival of sounds, lights, video, lasers and more, this year’s showcase “X-Y-Z Axis” will feature the electro-pop of Sci-Fi Uterus headlining Saturday night, August 25th at the Banyan Market, 1645 South Broadway. Sci-Fi Uterus has intrigued crowds at two previous Raw Material festivals, Raw Material II (see SFU LIVE! at bottom of page) and Raw Material III (see SFU LIVE! at bottom of page).

Denver, CO - COMA (The Colorado Music Association) has completed 2 compilation CDs that were a COMA project designed to get sound guys in local clubs to play local music during breaks, etc. According to COMA President Dolly Zander, “They sound terrific and there are voice overs between each song stating the song title and artist.” SFU was one of the COMA members selected by committee to contribute a song. HyperHead (originally released on SFU’s 2000 CD Primal Lick) is included on the “Mixed Genres” CD and will be heard in Denver venues including the Soiled Dove, Herman’s Hideaway, the Bluebird Theater and others.

Denver, CO - HyperHead Records announces its first brick & mortar distribution arrangement for Sci-Fi Uterus’ 2000 release Primal Lick. Bart’s CD Cellar and Record Shop will carry the CD at its Boulder, Colorado location, 1015 Pearl Street.

Denver, CO - Grant R Productions and HyperHead Records announce a free Halloween performance in the exotic Colorado mountain town of Ward featuring the space opera trio Sci-Fi Uterus with special guests Winona Righteous and the Mysterikon Prophets from the Mystery Sandbox Theater. Saturday, October 28th, 7pm at the outdoor Oddfellows stage across from the General Store. Warm attire is suggested. Email for driving directions.

Denver, CO - Sci-Fi Uterus is back in town, invigorated by a well-received performance transmission at SXSW 2000 music festival in Austin, Texas. The Uteri (DoHo, Stif Spring and Mystic Antenna Chick) delivered an energetic 40-minute set of songs that coincided with the release of their latest CD Primal Lick from HyperHead Records.
